5th Hyde Group Camp 2013

30 December 2013

This year for group camp we went to Tatton Park’s new scout campsite. It was a great weekend. We did lots of activities. Just like; late walk to see the deer, Go-Karting, and numerous amounts of challenges, grass hockey and we even went geocaching.

Whilst on camp we even invested some of our members. On the Saturday, the Beavers came up after breakfast and didn’t go home until after tea. It was quite a long camp especially for the new Cubs who just moved up from Beavers because their first camp was 4 days, 3 night. No surprise there were tears! We had a great weather for it though, if you didn’t go home sun burnt you definitely got tanned.

“On Camp we went go-carting and on unicycle. We had a little contest and races. I won the first race, Archie won the second race. It was very funny – The campfire was very brite”

I enjoyed the camp because I had my friends with me, even though I had to help clear Katie’s sick up at 2.30 in the morning, and we all got loads of badges. Overall the camp was just brilliant, fantastic & amazing. Can’t wait till next time.
